Meet the Founder

Rachel Proffit graduated from massage school in 2011 and promptly began building her second company, Zoë Massage & Bodywork. Along the way, she's grown from a one-woman show in a tiny linen closet to the owner of one of the highest-rated spas in Charlotte, NC. 

 

A teacher by trade before entering the wellness world, she began working on a company that would allow her to coach other massage therapists through some of the toughest parts of business ownership, and the Bodywork Boss was created in 2018.

Her mission: To help massage therapists build and execute a school-to-retirement plan without relying on low-paying, high-stress franchise employment.
